Have you ever had the primal urge to carry an axe that you made? This is what we will do in this class. Guest instructor Dale Thorson of Thorson Forge out of Shelton WA, will help lead this class. Dale has a lengthy background of Norse axe forging experience that he will be bringing to teach at South Bay Forgeworks. In this class, Dale and I will be going over the entire build of your very own axe. from drifting the eye to sharpening the edge, from forging the beard to shaping your handle. by the end of this class, you will be going home with your very own hand forged, hand crafted axe.
